Our Doctors and Team Members

Let us tell you about our Team Members!

Meet our Doctors

Dr. Bryant Brummitt, III - Owner

Dr. Brummitt has been the owner and Veterinarian for Canton Animal Hospital since July 1987 (33 Years!!). Dr. Brummitt enjoys helping people through their pets. He enjoys bringing new puppies and kittens into the world when he preforms a c-section; there's just something precious about a new life! He also enjoys seeing a pet parent's facial expression after helping their pet feel better. Reuniting pets with their parents after a hospital stay is incredibly heartwarming.

Dr. Brummitt has 2 dogs and 3 cats. Molly, is the Springer Spaniel that you will often see laying behind the reception desk snoozing the day away, unless there is food involved! Dr. Brummitt jokes that Molly owns the animal hospital, her paw print is on the deed! Cooper, is his German Shorthaired Pointer who has more energy then he knows what to do with! His favorite thing is to chase after a ball or collect box turtles, which he often takes to Dr. B! You might see Cooper around every once in a while, but he prefers to stay at home where he can sun bathe and sleep.  Buddy, is the sweetest orange cat you may ever meet, and truly lives up to his name! He truly is a great buddy! He enjoys long pets and lots of treats! Last, but certainly not least is Tyler, the sassiest most mischievous orange cat that there may ever be! He enjoys lots of outdoor activity and being loved on, he's a snuggler! You may see Tyler around the clinic from time to time, as he was originally supposed to be our clinic cat... But then he got a taste of the great outdoors, and did not much care for being locked inside on a warm, sunny day. When he's at the clinic he typically protests by hiding on the top shelf of our cleaning supplies or hiding behind the blinds in an exam room!

In Dr. Brummitt's free time he enjoys hunting, fishing and outdoor activity. He also enjoys working on his collection of military trucks and riding off-road vehicles with friends!

She also enjoys the team she works with, they are truly a wonderful group of Doctors and team members!
Morgan has 2 dogs. Auggi, is a blue Pit Bull that keeps Morgan on her toes! Auggi has horrible skin (typical pitty), and a knack for eating things she shouldn't. You would think after 3 exploratory surgeries she would learn her lesson, she hasn't. Auggi is a snuggler and thinks any human or animal should greet her and play with her! Rousi, is a blue and white Pit Bull who is extra silly. Rousi is a lover, if someone is sitting down they better be prepared for 50 pounds of love.

In Morgan's free time she enjoys spending time with her husband, son, family and friends. She enjoys going to church, trips to the lake, traveling to Charlotte to watch the Carolina Panthers and cruising to different island destinations.
